I may be viewed as a bit out of it here, but I have just brought a SC Sportshome based on a 5 Tonne Merc 516 XLWB Sprinter with high roof pod. It is awesome. Check out their website! Primarily I use it for Racing (there is a garage section at the rear). I was fed up camping and B&B at race meetings. It is a totally self contained unit with generator, A/C fresh and waste tanks etc etc. However, racing is only once a month and we would like to use it for our other hobbies. We don't do sites etc as we live on a farm in the country and wondered if there is some sort of guide to wild stopping etc. Cheers.

Wild camping is something of a minority sport although in most of Scotland it seems to be well tolerated. @Willdbill does it a lot and a few others but generally we don't have the opportunities the French do for example.

Hi and welcome You will find water and toilet dump you're biggest challenge.
Depends whare you want to go and what you want to do but I have always parked with consideration for the locally.
And not Brothering any one if you can just blend in hard with a big whit box.
I have wild camped in the UK with very few problems

Your spot on. Wild bill has just posted me with some interesting points. I can keep 200 ltrs waste water and have 300 ltrs fresh so can go for some time but we are only looking at long weekends so no problem. Many thanks guys for your help.
