Is the thetford cassette c200 the same as the c200s?

If so where is the best (cheapest) place to get a replacement?

The C200 has four models - S, CS, CW and CWE - the difference being in the flushing mechanism. See Here and more information Here.

They all use the same cassette but there are two venting systems, Here and Here and you need to have the correct one in the replacement cassette. Easy enough to change if the replacement comes with the wrong one though - I know because we got a second hand one at a boot sale 15 months ago and refurbished it :)

Is it just the cassette or the complete loo?
It just the cassette the fresh up packs are cheaper than buying just the cassette and I think you will find they are multi fit a 200 one will fit all 200 models, they are also changeable from left to right hand side.

That's useful to know, I'm looking for one too and have noticed them being advertised as left or right hand...

Might be old stock, I bought one for my C400 2 years ago and it's multi fit, & my mates C250 was as well, unless the C200 being an old model they haven't bothered with a multi fit version.

It only applies to bench toilets Joy. L/R applies to the side the access door is when you are sat on it. I think yours, like ours, is a pedestal type so it doesn't apply.

It's which side of the van the hatch is on.

Our last van had one on wheels , no problems with the handle, present one does not and it is a pain althought i do have a trolley for it. think i may have replace the casette as it seems to be leaking from the seam, so it will be a choice between capacity and convenience. John did carry the casette to the emptying point for me when I was ill, (not casette filling illness lol) but i still had to go to empty it.

All depends which hand you wipe your bottom with. If it's your right hand the seat is angled to the left for easier access. The opposite way round if it's the left hand.
