Ok, we have narrowed our search down to a rear lounge model. BUT, swmbo has asked to look at some island bed motorhomes before we buy, just to clear our heads.

We don't know enough to search so here is a description.
Max length 7.5m
Not A class
4+ travel seats
upto £55k
dinette or half dinette front lounge
bed front facing, not transverse. His / her wardrobe each side of the bed.
Prefer separate shower
Well known quality make
Does this exist????!!

Any suggestions to look at please

Brilliant, this fits perfectly! Coming from a boating background, I love the teak holly floor. Plenty of woodwork, very nautical. This is a spanner in the works!

@Cliffdale have you tried caravanfinder.co.uk & select 'motorhomes':rolleyes:

You can search by layout....lots of diagrams....no idea if that helps

P.s. I second 'Fred' (y)

Could I ask why not an A class? As there are loads that would fit the bill and possibly some (Hymer Exsis)shorter than 7m

Do Rapido 7090f come in different model numbers? I've been looking for one or something similar 2014 to 2016, newish model. Nothing found on my searches!

The A class is just a personal view, I just don't like the look of them.

The Burstner T740 also looks good but prefer the Rapido if they still make them.

That's a shame as you would be surprised how much more space you have inside them at front end particularly I must admit I had same preferences as you when we started but soon came round to liking them after two coach builts

Burstner T740. Ticks all the boxes you listed.
We took delivery of ours couple of months ago, and have been delighted with it.

The trouble is ...........

They all look fabulous! Love the island bed, love the back lounge. I did see an island bed that dropped down onto a rear lounge but I can't find it now. That covered everything!

I am going to NEC in October to get on a few motorhomes but at the moment, the scales are tipping towards a rear lounge.

I reallly appreciate your pointers and all have been followed up.

By dismissing A Class you are missing out on a lot of suitable vans, an A Class is so much easier to drive and the cab experience is so much nicer. We are on our first A Class and now would not consider any other type of van.
