Brilliant shot of one of our favourite places in France - we'll be there in a couple of weeks!

I fully agree with you on that PP, a great picture Neil :thumb:
Sadly we won't be there again until sometime in 2010:cry::Sad::cry:

Thanks again Barry :thumb:. I'd recommend a visit - electric included hookup on the aire.... if you're quick enough!

Thank you chatter :thumb:. Credit for the merging part has to go to Photoshop :Cool:

Great picture Neil.. nicely blended.. it captures the the feel of Honfleur..

We too have enjoyed a few days there.. but a few is plenty, Honfluer is a beautiful town with lots of of fine buildings but for us just too touristy and expensive.. cafe' prices are eye watering.

The aire is convenient for the town, ( ten minute walk) but rather soulless being little more than a large dusty concrete car park .. but good value for money.
An excellent stopping place but not a destination.

Great stop for first night and last night! We feel we've really arrived in France when we get to Honfleur and of course that's where we go to say goodbye!:Smile:

St Valery sur Somme is another good spot that too, also got an aire which is a bit posher than Honfleur.:thumb:

Honflleur is a great place for photography though and for browsing the shops with credit cards firmly in pocket!!!

Thanks Jim,

Good summary too, we were a little taken aback with the food prices. But as touristy places go I've seen much worse :Eeek:

Thank you, hope to be there New Years Eve

Well if it's anything like Easter you'd better get there early to get hook-up!
There were around 400 vans there over Easter - we were on an ordinary car-park. Cops cruised around every day but no-one bothered us!
Imagine doing that over here????:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
