Trying to get together a 12v solar system for the van roof.About 80w mono panel and mppt controller charging two 110a LB"s linked together as12v.Confused about what power mppt controller I need 10a/20a ? Dont need a lot of power as lights LED just Propex/3 way fridge (on gas on site)bit of TV/radio/Cascade blr/fan.The more I look into it the more confused I get !!!Was originally going for Dual battery (LB"s 2x110a + VB 70a) but think I will just use to charge LB"s.

this is a popular true mppt charge controller
This will not work efficiently with an 80 watt panel and the 200watt version is out of stock.
Much better with mppt units to be as close to the panel wattage as possible. Have a look at Victron models 10 amp
@Cal54 will have a Victron surplus at Malvern show when she upgrades to a 20 amp unit that I will supply if not back in stock on ebay
