Ballpark figure how long could I run the fan via a 100 watt inverter hooked up to 2 110 amp batteries renewed by solar ?
Would it last a night ?

I'd be surprised if a 100W inverter will start an 80W fan and probably won't run it. Starting load on a fan is at least 3 x running load. Add in power factor and I don't think it'll do it.

You of course are already doing it and I'm a liar:)

I will try tomorrow and Let you know ,you could well be right if the running load thing is right.

But only if you want to kill your battery.

Just under 8hrs to 50% discharged.
... he's got 2 x 110 amp batteries = 220 amps, so 50% is 110 amps
