Signal weak in Cornwall (1 Viewer)

I can't get my portable satellite set up to work here in Cornwall. I'm near Bude. I get an indication from the sat finder but can only get 10% signal. Is it because I'm too far West it worked fine last time I used it in Dorset? Any advice welcome please.

It should certainly work. Are there any trees or hills in the way?

Why not just try "Freeview " on your telly or even just the normal terrestrial channels?

We stayed in Ploughhill and got those clear as a bell.

And we have just the normal "saucer aerial, nothing fancy, bog standard.

As said have you got good view of the sky for signal. Even a 40cm dish will get a picture of 70+%.

We got a perfect signal in Woollacombe recently, not a million miles from Bude.
