12v laptop charger (1 Viewer)

i am trying to get a 12v laptop charger which I can run from my cigarette lighter socket, phoned curry's, PC, Maplins, cant get one any where other then off the net and I don't trust a lot of sellers on the web, anyone know where I can get one, the laptop is a Toshiba C660-1FE,

interesting Jaws, they issue a warning for the ones on E-Bay that that may overheat, you must of got a good one.

This company can supply 12v supplies for all laptops, if your model is not listed there is a form on the site you can fill in & they will sort one out for you. I have a couple of them they have been reliable.

Most (traditional) laptops run at 19v, so there must be an element of stepping up the voltage from 12v. That is unless we are talking about netbooks which do tend to be lower voltage on the charge port, mine has a 12v input. I think we really need to know what you have before we can offer advice!
