A Survey by the CC is a bit patronising - everyone knows they do what they like, no matter what the members think. I presume they will only use the results of the survey if it fits in with what they have already decided to do. Which is probably that they are going to have some dog free sites and charge a bit more for dogs where they are allowed.

You heard it here first:ROFLMAO:

Easy, I ticked the "less than one year" answer.

I hope all dog owners/lovers made their views strongly at box #3. I for one would cancel my membership of the CC in an instant. Untill they offer facilities for dogs.......
ie #1 Washing 'em off area, #2 dedicated dog walks (with expulsion notices posted for the lazy b#####s who think it's clever to leave their pets poo where it falls)
#3 shampoo parlours for those owners who like to pamper their pooches....... there should be no charge.

Seriously, I'd rather things stayed the way they are, but to strictly enforce #2 if a member is seen to abuse/ignore the rules.

We would never visit a site that put a charge on pets. We go through the CC handbook when the new one arrives & cross out any CL we come across that charges for dogs, so we don't waste our time looking at it again. One CL owner in the handbook we came across even charges £1 if you wind the verandah out on your motorhome. :Eeek: From memory I think it's in Pickering.
