Can anyone tell me what hose I need to look for to connect the external gas point to the barbeque ?

Do you mean just the hose or the plug in connector as well ?

Be aware, there are two different types and one won't fit the other.

I assumed there would be a hose available with connectors each end for bbq and gas point connection

Unfortunately not, the list of hoses would Be endless with all the available bbq and gas tap types available.

Connector to van....low pressure hose....Connector to bbq......the only way to do it.
