Yes it is, a Honda CB500X, cheap as chips and more fun than you could ever imagine for the price. One of those freaks where they threw the last egg in a pan and out came a cordon bleu souffle.

Tell us about your moho - I see you get it towards the end of next month - why you chose that particular one, and what you plan to do with it! (Some of us are VERY nosey, and some - not me - are VERY tech savvy if you ever encounter any problems.)
Me, I also like to find out why people chose their forum username!

Well, I just end needed somthing to be able to go where I want, so looked at tents, didn't feel safe with a faily, looked at pop ups, looked shabby, looked at caravans seemed a lot of work and quite restrictive , so camper vans where next but looked to campy, so chose motorhome, first one I've seen and hope it's not going to cost me lots because of its age

I'm a Yorkshire lass myself. When I joined Fun, I'd never done any forums or facebook or anything like that, I soon got the hang of it with lots of help from others on here. Sometimes we can play a bit rough but it's all with the best of intentions.

You might want to start a new thread with a title of, say, "Advice please on my (new-to-me) Euro 40", explain what you've got, maybe post a link to an advert where you found it, or photos, etc, and you'll probably get a few responses that will help.

Glad you've joined we are in sheffield ! What model is your van and if you've any questions ask away someone should be able to help.

Joined in January 2014 after 'lurking' for a while. Bought our very first moho in November 2013 - had only done back-packing before so the amount of room available was a bit of a shock! We've got a Bessacarr E554 but we're planning to get something a bit smaller as we've got more space than we need and we do like to go down fiddly little lanes - preferably without getting stuck

It's a fiat dacato, Mobil vetta, euro yaht 140, it has done 56,000 miles, looks in good condition, asked owner to provide me with a habitation certificate, saw it on gumtree for £11250, paid deposit last night, guy I bought it from is a car dealer who got it in p/x

56K miles is nothing. As long as it's dry you can't go wrong at that kind of price.
