Solar panel (1 Viewer)

I have been quoted £1200 to supply, install and set to work a solar panel in my Knaus motorhome by Southdowns, my local dealer who supplied the van new last year

Is this a fair & reasonable price?

You didn't say how many panels, if they are fitting 6 or 7 seven 100 watt panels probably reasonable.

Keep away from Southdowns. They wanted my van for 8 hours to fit a solar panel, local company near Romsey, Hampshire did job in 2 hours. £35 .00 an hour.

Whoops!!. Company are called caravan solutions, two guys own the business, based on an industrial estate at Belbins, Romsey Hampshire.

You cannot specify how long it will take. There are many different factors that can influence the time. The bottom line is what matters

They are very professional, you won't regret it! With the solar panel install at VanBitz don't forget you get the controller and a battery master and the price quoted is what you pay - nice

Recently had my 150W solar set up from the Bitzmeister. Very pleased, great work and great site stop over.

Used these guys in my Folding Camper days. Very good service and always go that little extra.
