Our recent new tous 2014 Buerstner Aviano has 2 things that we cannot work out! 1: Seat base cushions have 2 black strap like bits of material --- What are they for?
2: We have 2 items that were up in the o/head cab bed. They match our upholstery and are like large loops of material. Photos attached, happy for any help. Buerstner have replied asking for lots of build numbers etc, so it appears they are struggling!
Cheers

The straps in the first photo are for tying the cushions to your feet to make really comfortable snowshoes.

The item in the second photo is a ruler, for measuring things.

Do the cushions from the first pic fit inside the other bits?

Are they not just tie down straps for when on the move and that 2nd picture. Is that a pinched head rest cover from a KLM plane?

We have something like that to fit onto the cab seats when they are swivelled to make it easier to eat at the table.

Thx for your efforts.I will try to be more specific. The straps are elastic and are on the base cushions that are in the seating area around the table. There are no equivalents on the wooden bases or indeed Velcro etc to attach too.
The material "hoops" are a mystery to us. They do not appear to go around anything we can see. Hopefully a Aviano owner will have the same!
Keep trying, we are desperate to know.
Cheers
Bernie.

How about ... when you convert dining area to another bed .. do they fit over something to stop them moving. I actually sewed two straps like thst to the back of cushions on last van to syop them falling off in night.

Thx Movan but the dining area cannot be converted to a bed. Keep trying!

Sounds like the basis of a good game at a rally - ' what would you do with these'? Bottle of plonk to the winner!

I reckon the seat base cushions are booster seats for kids to eat at the table or so they can use a seatbelt?
I think the second one is a hat for the mother in law, it's just missing the pull cord to tighten it....:D

Progress! Burstner have just replied. The cushion straps have small slits in them to attach on 2 buttons at the rear of the seat box to stop cushions moving! Great and now attached.
They say that the 2 pieces of material are "Design Pieces" for bed mattress. You can put the mattress into them. I have written back to ask for further detail as the mattresses ( rear singles or overcab) are far too large to fit in them. Watch this space!
Cheers

The answer has arrived from Burstner! The 2 bits of material are to be put over the single mattresses ( 2 feet long) during the day as design features!
Now we know. Don't think we will be using them.
Cheers
