i want to make american corn dogs but....

anyone know where to buy yellow cornmeal.
do the major supermarkets stock it.
couldnt find it in sainsbury's today.

Isn't this the stuff carp fishermen use to make boilies or whatever they call them?
Sounds a bit dodgy to me. Think i'll stick to good old british food like Chicken Tikka Biryani and Vindaloo sauce.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

started when I was 11 with my parents-forgot to stop!been real one since 1980!
Blisters is quite correct IT IS Polenta. I have used it to make cornbread to accompany chilli

... and semolina you makes yer boilies wiv, as boilie making (???boiling) is what 'imself used to get up to before the world and his dog were making them commercially ..... and everyone's bait was A Secret .....

In the UK, is it not known as maize meal ?

Polenta is an Italian name for a meal made from grounded corn or maize meal.
