Never should have done it BUT ..with bones n joints giving way - 'The ageing process' ....so Liz & I thought a Level Floor caravan would do the Trick ?!? Mirrors ON., Hitch ON..steps in & OFF THEN Water container out..Fill it up., then waste bucket etc etc . SO its GOING & just now finalising a deal AND back to the "FUN". with level floor Motor Home. A costly exercise !! But it seems to be the Right thing to spend a little bit quicker at 70.. See u all soooooooon David n Liz [ Until 'Ting Tong' arrives ] she,ll cost me LESS than Liz SO WELCOME TO ALL YOU 'NEWBIES' ....ENJOY THE JOURNEY

Welcome! Quite a few reformed tuggers here, you'll fit in well. They have rallies where they all sit in a circle and say things like:

"Hello everyone, my name's David and I used to own a caravan."

Once you've admitted your problem it all gets so much easier. :)

Water container out..Fill it up., then waste bucket etc etc .

don't throw or give them away with the caravan..

provided you have space to carry, an Aquaroll and Wastemaster can be very useful.. (y)

Allan .. is also my surname,

Last name: Allan

This interesting name is of Celtic origin, and derives from a personal name of great antiquity. The name Alan, is thought to derive from the Gaelic "ailin", little rock, a diminutive of "ail", rock, and was introduced into England and later to Ireland by the Breton followers of William the Conqueror after 1066, among whom it was a very popular given name.

Welcome back.

We were also Motorhomers who defected to caravans, in our case to finance the purchase of a place in France.

After three years we gave in and bought another M/H. Now we can travel around Europe with only one cost for crossing the Channel. Result!(y)
