out walking the dogs and spotted a Frankia Funster on the aire.

Hope to catch up with them later as their Frankia is one of the candidates for our next Motorhome!

Yes, it is nice @gillnphil. Our first time here and likely to return.

About half of the vans here are Brits!

A Woosh bang
10 or more years ago it was a lovely quiet and free aire.. rarely saw more than a few vans.. we spend many a happy day there en route

Last time we were there it was almost full .. but still a nice location to chill for a couple of days ..

We certainly enjoyed our night's stay there @scotjimland and enjoyed our lunch at the adjacent restaurant where our two (well behaved) dogs were welcome.

One of our favourite aires too.
Been there 3 times already this year.

@scotjimland , it's still free........as long as you go there in the winter months. :)

Richard.

You're a bad influence, keeping us up until 0115hrs drinking red wine and whisky - you know what they say; never mix the grape and the grain!

Oh and thanks for the 'dry run' in the Frankia - Linda says it has reinforced her (our) view that it could be the right model for our next van!
