Evening all,
Recently bought a 1983 Mitsubishi L300 Pioneer Motorhome to use when I work at Glastonbury Festival next week.
It's my first motorhome as my trusty 1964 VW Splitscreen currently needs some restoration work to it's mechanicals.
So far I've serviced the 1.6 petrol L300 engine, flushed the cooling & heater, changed the thermostat, changed the 12v bulbs for LED & checked the gas appliances.
Been searching all over the internet in vain to find out what the tyre pressures should be as the steering seems very heavy ..... any ideas please what pressures I should be using for it?????

, first thing i would do would be to check how old the tyres are using the DOT code on them . Then if they are all the same make or if some of them are , email the tyre manufacture along with the weight of your motor home , each axle . There should be a plate stating various weights . Im sure more experienced folks will be along to offer more advice

Bit obvious so sorry but I assume it's not your power steering that's just defective.

It doesn't have power steering, bought one new in about 85, lovely motorhome.
Very smooth engine, column change gear lever, nice to drive unlike the BMC Sherpa I traded for it.

Hi Rick and welcome, sounds like your arms are going to get a good workout. If it gets you where you want to go then heavy steering is a small price to pay.

Ah! The old "pilton pop festival". Bane of my life, when trying to access farms nearby to do my job for a couple of weeks a year. Gave up in the end and moved all the work away from the area for the duration.. Loads of Hippies in wellies most years. Good for a laugh though. Farm next door used to get really pissed off of them using HIS land as a toilet.

Our first motorhome in the 80's was a Pioneer on a Bedford chassis could only manage 55mph flat out but was a fantastic little motorhome
We went all,over Europe in it and had some fantastic holidays.
