Electrolux in Hymer 1994 B534. At a rally in Southport and no hookup. Fridge worked fine when we got here. Went for a walk and gas went (ignition was clicking away so doing its job) changed bottle to known full one and now will not light. Any thoughts please? Ta

could be air locked? have you tried pulling gas through by lighting the boiler and the cooker and ensuring that they burn smoothly?

Thanks. Gas Oven is on so should be OK for flow. Seems to have got warmer at vent but ignition still clicking. I assume that stays on?

no.. if it's still clicking it's not lit.. or the thermocouple hasn't detected the flame.. but as it was working that's unlikly

It can takes ages for the new gas to get through .. it's only a tiny jet .. so keep trying

It shouldn't click once it's lit.

Mine was clicking intermittently yesterday when I first lit it, I switched it off, waited for a second (with a gas ring buring smoothly on the cooker) then switched it back on - like the gas ring you have to hold the flame-adjuster knob in for about thirty seconds, if you let go and it clicks again, push it right back

That is exactly what mine was doing yesterday, it stopped when I re-started it (reboot the fridge...) and didn't click again until I switched it off this morning

Seems to have mostly settled with just the very occasional click

Since 2011, previously a tugger
I had the same symptoms of clicking away, sometimes it would light and other times not. Cleaned out the jet on the burner and it's been great ever since. It's such a tiny jet that any hint of some sooty deposits or dirt will stop the flame burning clean and cause problems.

Damm thing. I checked it was working before we left too! It sounds as if it is lighting when I release the knob but does not stay lit.

Anytbing else I can try while here or will it have to wait till I can pull it out and have access to my tools?

Don't suppose any motorhome fun fridge experts are here at Southport?
