I'm going to be Billy Nomates this year.
My miserable wife doesn't want to go (she has only been about 20 times!)

I expect I'll be staying in Laxey but I will be taking a motorbike and would love to meet up with any one, any where on the Island.

Can't make it this year, but planning to go next year though, just got to save up for the IOMSP co ferry fares and accommodation, better start now!

I was amazed how cheap it is to take a motorhome compared to a van (vans are treated as commercial and much more) This year it will be a little over £325 for me - wife - motorbike - and the van. It's only about two hours from Liverpool on the fast SeaCat. Nothing else to pay after that - only living expenses. Almost all the entertainment is free!

That would be very nice and not totally unexpected from Manx people. I'll get in touch when I'm over and call around, if only for a coffee.

I always stayed with my brother when he lived over there, (27 years), also with a friend, now gone, who was at Ballacraine, so paying for digs will be new to me, I will look into this home stay lark for me and my mate, time for some research I think.
