I have just been cleaning the roof of our MH and the SP. Under the surface of the SP is an irregular patch white(ish) in colour about 3" long 1/2" wide and emanating from an edge. So, a few questions:

Is this delamination?
Is it a problem?
Will it affect performance, if so how?
Could it harm my battery bank?
Should I get the panel changed (it is under warranty)?

Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

I think, if it's still under warranty, get it sorted by the dealer what ever it is.

Certainly sounds like its sprung a leak and the aluminium frame is corroding.

As it's under warranty I would get it changed as it won't get any better.

It's much much worse than you think. Block a single cell and depending on just how they are wired, you could lose a quarter or half of the output. Like Christmas tree lights of old, one goes, the whole string goes.

Without doubt.

Lights go out, electric locks dead, his heating goes off and they find him next day frozen to death in front of the hab door where he was trying to cut his way through it with a fork. Very sad. Mourned by many, especially the old ladies he helped across the road and the local hospital who relied on him to deliver patients to the operating theatre. We'll not see the likes of him again in our lifetimes. Rest in peace old friend.

The answer is to fit a cat flap in the Hab door ,then you can put your head through and call for help:whistle:

Brilliant. He could even take a carrier-cat to send a message. But only if he's quick before he freezes.

Knowing my luck there would be nobody about when I called. Think I will book my place at with Exit International now rather than wait. :(

Is it not a label unsticking itself? Just a thought......
