I changed our leisure battery last week. The solar panel regulator shows that the panel is working fine, but there is no charge going into the battery. Before I changed the battery it was performing, if not optimally.

I have looked at the manual and it is beyond my very limited understanding. I can't find any reference to the problem in Troubleshooting and don't know how to figure out what to do. I am tempted to try the reset option, but don't know if that will fry something.

I am intending to get the controller replaced later in the year, having been told by an expert that it is badly fitted and a poor fit with the shaudt eletrobloc. I would, however, like some use from the panel in the interim, as we spend a lot of time off grid.

Can anyone advise please?

I just swapped the new one in without touching the solar regulator, which is directly wired onto the terminals. No inline fuse either - one of the things whoever installed it got wrong apparently.
