3 claw universal water filler cap - any suggestions for alternatives? (1 Viewer)

We're currently having problems locking our water filler cap on our Bolero along with thousands of you out there. Its the standard 3 claw cap - see pic below. We've read loads of posts on here with different suggestions as to how to fix it, and found that the boiling water trick worked once, but not the next day.
What we're wondering is whether anyone has found an alternative and better cap.
