I don't think I have a permanent favourite, my favourite is the one that I'm listening to most at the time.
Currently, it's Mark Knopfler and Emmylou Harris with "All the Road Running" (already posted), but with some Little Feat "The Last Record Album", and Bruce Sprinsteen "We Shall Overcome - The Seeger Sessions".
But next week it will likely be different.:)

As above, it keeps changing depending on mood and stuff. Currently rather liking the new Underworld album and this single particularly.

However, the two most-played records I possess are Free's Fire and Water and Fairport Convention's Full House. The Free one has some of the best bass playing ever from (sadly dead now) Andy Fraser, and Full House has Sloth which may be my single favourite ever bit of guitar work from Richard Thompson.

If I had to choose one single desert island artist/band, it would have to be Neil Young - coming up for 50 years now and still got fire in his belly.

And a license for his telly?

I've never been a huge fan of albums by one artist, I get bored and find myself skipping tracks to get to the ones I like, I've never been a fan of The Beatles or Pink Floyd though, I feel I should be because most others rave on about them so much

I definitely have a few but must admit I mostly make compilations but ones I listen to start to finish are:

Alanis Morrisette - Jagged Little Pill

The Kooks - Inside in/inside out

My favourite recent - Royal Blood - Royal Blood

The Stone Roses by the Stone Roses.
Regarded by many critics as one of the greatest British albums ever recorded.

Sorry to be boring but I am addicted to Adele.

Pink Floyd many years ago when daughter was young.
