Since 2011, previously a tugger
ACSI app gives you more detail than the book, reviews comes to mind straight off.

I've downloaded the trial version for a play. Is there any way of searching for sites that give discount with the card?

We buy the ACSI campsite book app. £12 and download the app. with the card number that is included in the book, we also use the camping carnet from ACSI which cost about £3 as apposed to £7 from the cc, it has the same or better cover and is accepted at campsites instead of passports.

Once you have downloaded the app do you need Data or Wifi to use it when abroad ?
Phil

Once you've DL the app you will see the cost of countries you want (one Italy I beleive is free) then you DL them an need no WiFi or data to use.

@jollyrodger @etap Sorry if I am being thick but is the difference between CampingCard acsi and the ASCI card and the Camping Garnet acsi?

The ACSI book which you buy, includes within the cover a card which you present to the campsite reception to prove that you are an ACSI current member, then you will be given the ACSI rate for the nights you stay, this some call the camping card.
The ACSI camping carnet is a similar card to the one that the caravan club will sell you, it is a card that will cover you for various insurances like damages etc whilst you are on the campsite, it is also accepted by campsites instead of leaving your passport with them on arrival.
Hope this helps.
