Our Carioca 625 is in top nick indoors but the view of others looking at our van is showing signs of age. I ve managed to use a heat gun for the front black bumper and that has turned out perfectly. In the process of getting new decals to cover the old ones. I m taking off the lacquer on the side bumpers and painting that with plastic paint. But, I had the misfortune to drive into our bungalow a few years ago just before we were going away and I just got it "fixed" and "just put an undercoat on there" so we could go away. Well i just never bothered with getting it finished and now i m thinking of covering it up with decal. (photo attached and thoughts?) I also murdered a Welsh pigeon on the nearside cabin and was just thinking of getting a "Splat" decal or a decal that says "Dent below" with an arrow. Anybody with any ideas that dont include a full respray of the van ?

might beable tp ull that dent with a big sucker. or a small self tapping screw and slide hammer . then a sticker.
Just taken a look on youtube and it looks dead simple apart from i cant get behind it but i m going to give that a go with the heat gun now and buy a cheap dent remover. (What harm can i do ?)

quite a few years now, and loving every minute..
personally, i don't care what my van looks like on the outside, as long as it's got it's four wheels in each corner, is mechanically sound, safe and comfy inside for me to relax, and it gets me to where i want to be to have adventures and meet people, that's all i need, simples.. :)

Soon as I've finished Paving around Mrs RangiMcs Studio, I'll be buzzing the old paint & rust off our Towbar & giving the Sump it's annual coat of Hammerlite.:hi5:
