Had the motorhome mot`d today passed with 2 advisories both front tyres need to be changed in the next thousand miles not due to cracking but tread is fast approaching the wear bars .
both original tyres week 32 year08.
Just wondering if anyone has had these tyres fitted to a motorhome

Since the '80,s
Had them on my brand new Chausson transit based van last year.
Was a bit disappointed as we are in Michelin country.
They have been fine and in a French camper mag test were rated first ahead of Continental,Michelin and a couple of other " named" brands.

I had 16" RA8s fitted to a Mk7 Transit and was impressed as I had never heard of Hankook previously. I replaced them at 5+ years, on age grounds rather than wear with RA18s (higher loading rating) and again found them ok. Good Traction and little road noise.

Must admit to be being a Michelin person but the Hankooks were fine

since 2006 ( I think ! )
Loved the Hankooks.. And if it was not for the fact I have an account with Avon so get VERY good prices on them, I would have gone back to Hankooks like a shot
Amazing grip in all conditions ( even got us out of the quagmire that was Newark a few years ago whilst in the 4 ton Miller )
And so quiet ! We could not believe the difference in noise levels.

I have RA10's 4 season tyres on my van, noise level good, they took about 500 miles to settle down, a hard ride when brand new, fine after 500 - 1000 miles.

Had 4 of these fitted last summer and they are fine. They were recommended by the tyre fitting company, Watling Tyres, and saved me about £300 plus at the time Michelin and Continental tyres were not available,. They batch make them. My tyres were down to about 5mm but on grassy surfaces had little traction. The new tyres have made it a different truck.

I've not tried the RA18s but I do have RA08s fitted to the work Ducato and they're great tyres. Previously it was shod with Good Year Cargo which were appallingly bad on even slightly damp grass. Couple of years ago at a dry Peterborough and I was getting wheel spin at little above tickover on dew covered grass with them. The Hankooks are a world apart in terms of grip and I have even managed to drive up an inclined, very wet clay bound field with them.
