Here are a few taken of Delilah my 1985 Bedford CF. I've done a lot on her under the covers, and now I'm starting on the exterior.

She is solid as a rock, and never misses a beat. So its only fair she gets the works.

i'll keep you updated on progress.

Looks like a nice van to me, it is good to know a little bit about what lays under the raps. She must make you a proud owner.

looks a bit small for full timing, storage problems or do you have a trailer? The old CF were tough but the rust maggots used to eat them like transits, but your one looks nice and solid.

Had a CF when I was racing motorbike s many years ago loved it a brilliant van at the time. Used it for deliveries during the week and racing on weekends.
Happy days.:)
Enjoy;)(y)

It's solid as a rock. few rust bits on the bottom of the windscreen where water has seeped in, but I'll be getting it resprayed in a few weeks.

Man of few needs. Storage isn't really an issue, there is lots of cupboard space. I'll post an update on the interior later.

Looks perfect, I can't see ours lasting that long. Look forward to your updates.

A lot of people live in vans smaller than yours, but I do like the look of the old Bedfords. No ECU or other fancy electronics, so easy to fix with simple tools to keep it running, looks like an ideal full timing van.
Good luck with it.

Some more updates and of course, a wee trip out to Southport at the weekend. Front grille has been touched up and I've added the fiamma sun canpopy too.
