Since 2009 with motorhomes several caravans then tents before that.
We are both couched up , in the van too. Blissfully enjoying our peaceful long Thursday to Monday weekend .We're at flamborough , lighthouse road. We've stayed local up until today ! When we drove to Fraisthorpe beach. An old favourite of ours . (We used to camp with the kids there in our old MH. ) No not for nuddy sunbathing , you can't do that anymore!
You can park up for the day. £2.50.
I Cooked a bacon ,egg ,black pudding , tomato and mushroom brunch. Then walked down the beach into Brid, bought some crab legs from the harbour mmmmmm and then we walked back. Cup of tea, nap then drove back to our little CL . Where there's 2 caravans and us.
I Cooked a couple of rib eye steaks , sautéed potatoes with onions, mushrooms , salad. Opened the red wine.
We Polished off a couple of bottles between us. Now we're into the whiskey! Don't think we'll be long before were snoozing ! Bliss . Aren't we all lucky having this hobby?

Since 2010
We were parked up at Shaws between Harrogate and Knaresborough, weather not too good so brunch, then the bus into Knaresborough, not too good for shopping if that is your thing but as a pub crawl GREAT.
Did 5 pubs, drink in each, and two in one of them.
No more than 200 yards walked so missus could handle that quite good.
Bus back to within 25yds of site, sit down, lay down, doze.
Both woke up hungry, not wanting to make anything quick call to local Chinese, delivered, eaten, another quick drink. Then bed.
Next thing it is 9.00 am Monday.
No rush to leave, call at garden centre, bought ZERO, but it kept her amused.
Now home, and we were only 20 miles away! (8.30pm)
