No silly answers please boys
I'm in a hurry haha
Gotta sort it before we go off Motorhoming again then back for the wedding in august.

I can't think of any other shops in Norwich that would have anything suitable, other than BHS, but that's a no go now.
Marks and Spencer?
Have you tried all the individual departments in House of Fraser?

I'm a newbie
If you Google mother of the bride outfits, loads come up. Have you thought about booking a consultation in Debenhams & I think m&s do it too. I did in Debenhams & it was really useful, she brought outfits I'd never thought of trying on & I ended up with something I was really happy with.

Yes because people here are very helpful whatever the subject and the ladies know what a drag it is to have to spend time on this when they're waiting to get away in the moho
Thana for the suggestions. Yes I might think about wedding advisory lady. I presume I'm not obliged to but if I do that?

No I didn't get as far as house of Frazer as I was tired and dispirited by then haha. I'm a size 18-20 and lots were only in smaller sizes.
I have looked at them on line and will go back again. Thanks

We will be travelling through Holland Germany and Denmark before the wedding
I wonder if I should just try there ?
Maybe I will have more luck with shoes as I'm a wide size 9 and am determined to wear little heels for this thing. (But I have to walk up and do a reading in the church and don't want to stumble :)

Don't know how you feel about this, especially in view of the occasion, but sometimes if you're lucky you can pick up decent quality designer clothes in charity shops. You don't have to say where you got it!

I donated my MOG Jaques Vert dress, cost me ÂŁ90 and worn once.Yesterday I spotted some very fancy Monsoon dresses.

Some of them, poss BHF, sell a range of new fascinators. I got a lovely one for about ÂŁ7 for my son's wedding, received many comments.

I got really fed up with Bev stressing about what to wear, took her to Jaques Vert, not cheap but sorted, I did refuse the hat that the girl was doing her best to add to the set, suit was about ÂŁ200, hat would have been another ÂŁ120 o_O

How about a dressmaker?
Thinking A line, slim dress with jacket or "duster coat" type long jacket over?
You can then choose exact colours you want.

Val says try Ulla Popken if you're in Germany, though they do have a website, decent quality with a European flair.
