My 2005 2.8 ducato needs full exhaust, has anybody had any good prices? Service/fitting in South Yorkshire area perhaps even in stainless steel?

Just had ours done but not in Yorkshire. Westgate Tyres at Morecambe.
Took my old one up and they copied it. Fitted it myself in half hour. £270.

In the the end I opted for a standard steel exhaust being fitted by the garage who now does my servicing @ £204.00 inc all fitting and vat. they d lots of work on vans and have the contrail for the loacal british rail vans etc. ( I used to take to Geo,s over in mansfield, who allways did a proper job, but i just dont get the time now) There was a local firm who could have done a bespoke stainlees steel job for around £350/£400 depending seeing the origanal and I suspect how hard I could haggel, but as Im usure as what we wil do with our van long term I think the standard one will do for us.

So Its going in Wednesday,

How much is the actual exhaust?

Sorry but I never asked, it was irrelavent to me, I dont do fitting myself, it was the finished job price I was interested in.

When I looked at the standard exhaust it was completely different to my exhaust. That's why I had to have one made. Will you update when you've had it done ?

I'm pretty sure the Ducato exhaust is 2 parts, silencer and front pipe (or cat if fitted).

That is how it looks at Euro car parts and you buy the three parts (Cat,Mid and box) for around £250. DIY

Or around £100 if no cat fitted. My 2004 2.8JTD is cat free.

so for me at this time with something bigger going on in my life, £205 fully fitted inc vat is a smiley face for me

Unless you are unfit to do the job for some reason i would DIY. Only pain in the ass would be down pipes but you dont need them and double bonus if no cat.

Shame you were not closer as i would hold the tools for you :D

I got mine from ETS Exhausts in Luton using there on-line site. It cost less than £70 with delivery for my 2002 LHD 2.8 Ducato on an A Class Hymer. It was a better fit than the one I took off the vehicle!

I couldn't recommend them more.

Broken Link Removed

Edit, that should have read the total cost was £48.87 including VAT and postage.
