Had one for 5 years many moons ago. Now starting again.
Thinking of going there on Sunday unless it's tipping it down.

So is it good this year and worth a visit please?

Worth a visit even if only to come to the Fun Tent. :)

Supposed to be sunny tomorrow. Overall the show seems no better or worse than normal. Just my opinion.

Good if your in the market for a motorhome, lots of dealers. The site appears to favour dealers rather than small stall holders. I preferred Lincoln. Having said that, we bought a few 'essentials'
Take your wellies.
We stayed at Ferry Meadows and drove in parking on their brilliant hard surface carpark.

Its hammering it down now. Bet it will be fun and games when many people start to leave site tomorrow, especially as some people had to be towed on to their pitches in the first place, as the ground is so saturated in parts.

Doubt we will have a problem, facing down a slight hill and only 15' from the road. Having said that, it will probable sink to the axles on Monday.

Went today and managed to whittle our wish list down to 3 all Rapidos (same series just diff models). The hunt is now one for one we like within budget, no rush. Let the fun begin. So IMHO well worth the visit :)

Beautiful morning, just opened the blinds and glorious sunshine. Just hope it keeps up and with a bit of a breeze you never know, perhaps the tractor driver won't become a millionaire tomorrow!

The sun is out, so let's hope the grass dries out a little, should be a bit busier for the stall holders as more people out looking to buy

Had one for 5 years many moons ago. Now starting again.
Beautiful blue sky and sun this morning here in Ely but a good frost overnight.
Decided that we are going to do a healthy walk at Wicken Fen with 3 grandkids and their Ma and Pas.
Dread to think what the parking areas will be like with two days of use with the weather you've had there.
There's always another chance at another show.

We'll be trundling up from West Berks at circa 9am, should be there by circa 11am if lucky, hope the weather holds for the day.

The parking is brilliant. They have space on hard surface for 2000 vehicles..

Well, Winter has gone and Spring is back today. Been frosty overnight with the clear skies but that means we have wall to wall blue sky at the moment and its warming up nicely.

We thought last nights entertainment was great, Brian Conley was very funny.

Now just got to decide if I want a fried egg in my bacon sandwich.....

Quick question. Who pays the tractor driver? Just want to be prepared if we need a tow. Mags

Well I'll be damned every time I've been to that showground the parking has been on grass beside the road.
Too late now, grandkids expecting a day out.

We have just got home from the show , not really our cup of tea, but managed to buy a couple of things that we needed. The first being a grip track, for getting off slippery surfaces , because yesterday we go stuck just trying to get into a small CS in Suffolk and had to be pulled out by a tractor . The other items being a portable waste tank and some toilet fluid . Managed to meet Jim and a couple of other fun steers for the first time so a worth while trip .

Can I give a BIG "THANK YOU" to Paul and Lynn?who were next door to us, who provided us with a kettleful of boiling water to make the first drink of the day
(Our gas ran out at 11.pm last night.)
I can't imagine how frosty the reception would have been from the passenger seat it they hadn't come to our rescue.
