I much prefer external silver screens, but most seem to be the heavyweight padded variety, which take up storage space and I feel the padded sort are not necessary for most of the year. For my previous van we made our own since we couldn't find ones that fitted, which of course worked out cheaper, but not really worth the effort if there are versions already available. If they are available, I'm sure someone on this site will know. Thanks in advance.

Think Hindermann do more lightweight screen covers & Fiamma (Coverglas). If you don't need the fold down front NRF are another option.

I did a little mini review (my opinion of it). I think it's very good.
I have the long one.
It is lightweight and folds away quite compactly

It does look good. I think I'd prefer the shorter one, but the longer one I could use when it's parked on the drive. It's the lighter weight and folded size that interests me.
