We are off to France in mid June and are concerned that our back box ( Fiamma ) has only two very flimsy easily opened locks. We have been looking at various locking straps but to date have been unable to find anything that is lockable. We have seen straps that are lockable but are easily slipped off, and the straps can be, again easily, be cut through.
Any suggestions ideas / please?

These are good...but not cheap.

Don't rattle or damage what you put them around...

Available from windsurf/SUP/canoe outlets...

You could put a cheap battery powered PIR alarm inside with a remote.

Probably be able to one for about £15 off Ebay.

Might deter and would certainly warn you if you were sleeping

Could try a hasp and padlock I suppose? Not pretty though.

Living the dream.
For peace of mind I would go with some sort of hasp and padlock, there are lots of decent looking ones about.
