I'm an oldbie MH number 10
My interior hab door lock snapped at Chester.

I need to source a new one but can't find it for love or money?

any ideas?

Mines nothing like that. Tried a main dealer? It will probably take a month to come and cost an arm and a leg I'm afraid.

What bit has snapped, is it the handle ?
Our Rapido door is made by Hartal but the lock mechanism and handles are probably by Zadi, an Italian company, had a Zadi external handle snap on the Bessacarr and tried for months to find a replacement, eventually had to buy the whole mechanism from Swift at about £300 - £400
Put a photo up of the damaged part, I spent hours no days looking for a handle, it may help.

Contact some French dealers, if its a common problem they will probably have them in stock. Also it will be a lot cheaper.

£194 for a door handle Oh Please! why o why do I bother motorhoming and having the piss taken out of me by poxy motorhome dealers/manufacturers--- it cant be more than £20 to make and I can get a whole door for 1k

Try Highbridge. They've sourced me various Rapido bits and pieces and none have the prices have scared me so far.

@DavidG58 nothing to say the warranty will cover it mate...probably be wear and tear or alike.
