Please can someone tell us how do you get to the probes on this model? Does the tanks have to be dropped? Both water levels dont seem to read correctly. Have tried to clean with coke but no use.....and can anyone explain the control panel. When the waste level reads 100 and you press the middle button and hold it in for 5 secs it then reads waste level 2 =50%
So then if you turn it all off and on again it still reads the latter...As if I have changed it...puzzled.

When we went on the factory tour I asked where the fresh water sensors were on a Savannah as they had a base chassis there with the water tank fitted

...........they couldn't find them!

To be quite honest I think it's a case of water in = water out! I replaced the waste tank sensor and it only lasted 6 months.
Notoriously unreliable.

The control panel is a universal thing that is used on lots of builds.. some will have twin waste tanks.. There is also provision on some to choose internal or external pumps !

Thanks that probably explains the control panel

On our Bessie, the big screw cap was accessed via a lift up panel in the floor.
With the cap removed you could see and feel the sensors

The waste tank screw cap could only be accessed from under the van. With the cap removed the sensors could be felt.

We found that by cleaning both tanks with 'proper' Elsan tank cleaning fuid that both sensors started to work properly again

To prevent further problems we always empty the fresh water tank between trips and use Dish'n'treat which is a washing up liquid that is also a tank and pipe cleaner

Hi Sandra it will have a couple of wires attached hanging down from the top of the tank -If your large bungs are at the bottom of the tank you can unscrew it and it should give you access to it -if not drop tank to get at it
-Better to listen to your pump tone and you will hear when it's getting close to empty (y) filling wise stick hose into filler and when water comes out of filling hole, think it's full:LOL::LOL:

The waste sensor was a float switch, push fit into the side of the tank.Ours was a 2010 van so might not be the same but was accesible from under the van.If you find it make a note of which way up it goes, ours had a flat side to it.

If you find it make sure your waste tank is empty before removing it.
