Could anyone give me info where I can get an Aires book/CD for 2010 in english if possible? Is there one for Europe or do you have to get each country?

:thanks:

You can also try

CAMPINGCAR-INFOS

Probably the best on line Aires de service guide and they sell an excellent CD .

IMO the best Aires books are in French .. but that's no big deal, entries are to a set format that's easy to learn ..

I believe that there is a publication called Camper Stop which may be what you are looking for. I am not sure where you would get a copy from, perhaps a Google search may shed some light.

Agree with Jim on this one - they also have a USB dongle which is very convenient for netbook users without a CD drive. Updated evry July and Jan. Good service too.

Try Vicarious Books - at all the shows or available via their web site.
We found the Camperstop one to be the best. It covers 16 countries and you can buy downloads for satnav via the web site.

Used it a lot and found it excellent. Have met people who call it 'the bible'.

We use the regular Aires books. We did buy a Vicarious guide but it fell apart after just a few months light use! The Official Aires book is cheap, current and although the addresses are in French so are the Vicarious ones! How can you translate a French Address into English anyway?

We buy ours once we are there, every tourist booth and most campsites sell them

Aires Book

We bought the Bord Atlas from Vicarious Books to take to the Alps in January, It comes with Two Books one is mainly the Stellplatz in Germany and the other covers Europe we found many Stell Platz and Aires to stay at and a lot of the Camp Sites in Austria alow you to stay on an area just outside the main site and use the facilities at a fraction of the cost
