Rufty Tufty Off Site Freeloaders love a bargain...

Continente Super Markets here in Portugal have been running a Pyrex Promotion (now ended) since last November.

Spend €20 and you get a sticker to put on your "card". Collect stickers and get various Pyrex products FREE.

Yesterday I collected these two measuring jugs.

Each one "cost" 15 stickers (selos).

I have spent (well over) €600 and got two free jars.

What a Bargain!

Glad to see you know the value of a true bargain. If there's a discount what does it matter that you never needend it in the first place? I'm sure your new jugs will be invaluable though

Bought one of these in Tesco JJ.. . think I paid £4 .. so yours were indeed a bargain.. o_O

sadly, I have to report, it is probably the worst measuring jug I have ever owned..

it's almost impossible to pour without it dribbling everywhere

out of interest... why two ?

No problem pouring out of mine...

Maybe these are not the quite the same as the Tesco one or, as another possible theory, maybe "operator error".

600 Euros in 4 months is a hell of a lot of FB pies. What ya gonna use the jug for, making gravy ?.

He's been in Portugal so long that meat is now a generic term for something that once was breathing.....

Don't give up young Jim... I am certain the art of pouring without dribbling is easily within your grasp! (y)
