Serpentine Belt Diagram for Fiat Ducato (2008) Truck based MH (1 Viewer)

Hi all, apologies if this question has been asked/discussed before.

Does anyone have or know where I can see how a serpentine belt for a Fiat Ducato Truck based motorhome is fitted. The original belt is in pieces, and we are having trouble fitting the new one. Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated.

Ducatos don't use "serpentine" belts. If it has air con then there are two multi rib belts, one drives the alternator and the other drives the air con pump. AC belt is a stretch type with no adjustment, alternator belt has an adjuster.

The name serpentine describes the route of the belt rather than its construction.

Cheers PPJ, I had to fit one on an RV several years ago, it took two of us nearly an hour (one on top and one from below) to get the b$%^*)d thing on right. Serpentine belts will almost always be multi vee but multi vee will not always be serpentine.

Quite. I'd have thought most uses of multiV belts could be described as serpentine once more than three pulleys are involved. Semantics, semantics .
