Just received message from three that from next month the current all in one package at £20 will now be capped at 12g data usage as opposed to current unlimited.

It's still plenty for me, but may concern some users.

Just got the same txt but probably won,t be affected as for me its more the conveniance of having it
Important news. The amount of data you get with a £20 All-in-One 20 Add-on is changing. Based on your usage, it shouldn't affect you. More info bit.ly/adon20b

Grrrrrr....now they have the market they can do what they want...for now!:(

Has the takeover/merger with o2 gone ahead? I thought it was still pending a review by the European Commission which had not yet approved the deal. It was referred to the EC by the UK govt Competiton and Markets Authority.

Update.... I just answered my own question, the decision is expected in May.

Still the best value provider for those travelling in Europe
Many other carriers charge £3 per day for European roaming - we won't be switching

Just a little related tag on this thread.....
You may rember a thread a couple of months ago that Three had their 12 month/ 12gb payg sim on offer at £30. Several funsters bought inc me. I have been in France & Spain for a over a month now and as soon as I got off the ferry, I put the sim in my Huawei mifi and it worked immediately and has never failed to get a good strong 3G signal. In fact my wife has just used it for Skype whilst I was browsing Fun.

"Great news. From 31/03/16 the £10 All-in-One 10 Add-on comes with 1GB of data for up to 30 days."

Spain have recently introduced a pay as you go data card, 100 gb for a month at 30 euros but you must be a resident.
Will we ever get a deal like that. I think not.

Mine works fine in Spain but struggles to find a signal in France?

Ref 3 Plans....if you have 'All you can eat' data, it may be that the 12gb cap is on tethering at home and on roaming in the qualifying countries. So not really a problem.

That is correct - unlimited data but restricted to 12gb tethering. Don't think you can tether outside UK but need to read the T's&C's again

No I do not! I met up with a lovely English couple, here in Tafroute and they have been living in Spain for the last ten years. The guy was up to speed on a lot of innovative internet stuff and helped me update and download some brilliant software programmes.
He showed me a little box he got that allows him to watch any programme, film, sports etc through a satellite dish (80cm (Not sky sports, about 1/4 size of a digi box), with the minimum amount of internet bandwidth, apparently as best I can understand, unblocks codes from all satellite programmes)). Anyhow, during our discussion and whilst he was updating my Kodi add on programs he told me that Spain had just introduced this PAYG deal for residents only and there is no limit to the amount of data cards you can buy in a month. So, if you know a resident and are in with him/her they could purchase one or two for you, I would think.

I have three contracts with Three two are unlimited and not had any notification of any changes. Two are coming up for renewal so will watch with interest. Any recommendations for a phone update, I like the look of the s7 but it feels a bit flimsy for everyday use.
