Hi Everyone!

Does anyone know if you are able to wild camp up Glen Affric if so then whereabouts?
We are hoping to take a trip there in the next few weeks.
Any advice would be gratefully received!

Only place I can think of in Glen Affric itself is the walkers car park at the start, approached by road from Cannich (some or all single track). I've seen vans in there but don't know if they stayed overnight. Can't confirm if it's allowed, but would be surprised if you were hassled out.

Is that where you turn off at drumadrocit and just follow the road in ? If so there is a camp site down there near the river.

We stayed 2 nights in the Forestry Commission car parks last July. Don't think it is offically allowed but there were officials around and no one took any notice of us. Beautiful area. Water available at Drumnadrochit Tourist Office car park.

I've had a look at a map I have of some wild camping spots ...There are only two shown are both laybys on the 831 from Drumnadrochit. The closest to glen affric is at the top of the hill just before the 831 starts to follow the river glass down towards Cannich..

Yes, but you go past the campsite and just carry on, avoiding a turn off to Tomich.
