Just dropping a line to say hello, I am in the market for an expedition truck and am planning a series of long distance legs. Just wanted to tap into the knowledge base and get some good tips.

Welcome! There are a few with vehicles like that on here, such as @Bromleyxphil but using the search facility on here you should be able to find quite a lot of information. Hello Chris, just seen your post, no doubt you are planning some kind of self build that will tick all of your must have boxes?

If so, then why not come along to another site that Jim who owns this site has very recently set up, namely www.diymotorhome.co.uk (it is a FREE site by the way) where you will find quite a few of us over there who have done what you are thinking of doing and we will all be only too willing to share our experiences with you.
