Couple of times lately people have talked about doing their own van convertion and people say they are 'brave' to attempt it.

Seems like a fairly basic ( if time consuming ) task to me. Why is it 'BRAVE' ?

What am I missing here ?

Because for SOME poeple even turning on a light has it's consequences.

You'd need to be brave to camp out in anything I converted, Especially so with regard to water, electrics, and gas

Nothing to it :thumb: provided you have a mate who knows about the leccy bits-- in my case--- we work well together :thumb:
I suppose it will depend on your skill levels but it is easy to convert them A LOT HARDER TO SELL THEM

I would find it difficult and havent got the cash to loose when I cock it up.

I'm employed on a full time basis and would struggle to find the time, and they sell them already made in the shops.
