a long black slightly curled plastic thing in our Hymer wardrobe. SWMBO says it's a shoe horn, but who uses a shoe horn ? and why would Hymer put one in the van ?

As others have said, it's a shoe horn and device to operate a small 40x40 Heki. Very useful shoe horn; I have moved it from the wardrobe to near the Hab door, next to the magazine rack. I found that I always wanted to use it when entering or leaving the van.

P.s. A gentleman should never risk damage to the heels of his shoes - hence the need for a good shoe horn.
