Hi there,
We're coming to a junction point in our eurotour soon. We'll be in Slovenia for the next few days, until about the 16th August. We want to see both Croatia and Italy but we're undecided on which would be best to visit first. We are aware that late August is the most crowded time all around this region (Italy and Croatia), but that is just how our trip has gone. So, can we have suggestions if it would be better to turn down the Dalmation coast first and tour Croatia and Montenegro first for a few weeks till end of August, then ferry across to Italy and make our way up through September. Or would it be better to travel down through Italy first for a few weeks, ferry across to Montenegro and make our way up through Croatia during September. A few extra miles doesn't bother us that much, it's just a question of where "might" be least crowded or better in other ways.
Intermittent internet, so hope for some replies and suggestions when we check here next in a few days.
Thanks
