It's a bit wet and windy here... ( just trying to manage your expectations). :).

We got home from Spain on Wednesday and have already booked another ferry.

Don't be too hasty, have a good look at the weather reports.

But I do understand your condition. I have a bike back home saying "was it something I said ?".

Too much......too quick.......slow down:)

We have been visiting France, Spain and Portugal regularly for over 20 years, overwintering for the last 10 and still have lots to see and explore.

I have an antidote
Hire an RV and drive the length of the Rocky Mountains - then head west and take in Yosemite, Monument Valley and The Grand Canyon

I never got tired of the Western USA and had a blissful 8 months in a fifth wheel enjoying the above and more - Crater Lake, Lasson National Park, Arches National Park, the Oregon coast, Mount St Helens in Washington State, the Columbia Gorge.......... I could go on!

I feel sorry for all the folk I see rushing about everywhere...

We all know where we are heading.

Death.

I am not in a rush to get there.

JJ

Ah yes! , but the problem with Death is that you don't know when it's coming.

You could end up on your death bed, having missed all of the wonderful digits that the world has to offer.

Plenty of time for going slow when you've seen everything, and been everywhere you want to.

You mean like me... now?

JJ

Exactly !

The rest of us crazy folk - dashing round have still got places to see, before it's too late.

Edit.
The act of travelling (for me) is what motorhoming is all about
2 days in the same place and I'm ready to move on
Maybe I'll slow down a bit when I'm fully retired and got more time on my hands
Until then it's Go Go Go!

We were the same when working cash rich time poor (more or less, but had plenty of long holidays being self employed, hence why have always had vans) Have had twenty five years of travelling, curtailed now due to health but all being well I will be able to resume in two years and will be 65 then........ Better then waiting for retirement to start and realise its to late!:)

Summer consists of touring (but not rushing), winter we are hapy to have a few months in one place just living.....

At the end of the day have always worked to live not lived to work....Remember being on really lucrative contracts and up and leaving to go to Portugal for 6 weeks (wife a lecturer so has go holiday). All the people I worked with thought I was mad! Still think I was right.
