Weare off to France for the first time in Buster and wonder what adapter we will need for a French electric hook up?

If you get one of the ones RC has suggest you will waste your money. I think he means on of these:

However, you should not need anything as they should all be using Euro standard sockets. If not they will normally lend you an adaptor for about 10 euro refundable when returned.
That's exactly what I meant - thank you
I'd certainly invest in my own as Aires which offer elec are often unattended

Main sites should be using the same as we do but more rural or under used sites may still have the conventional French two pin domestic sockets.
More important is a tester to confirm there is an earth in the hookup.
If no earth try a different hookup post.
If still no earth...try a different camp site
No earth can kill..
