Is it a Benidorm thing? I seem to remember a certain Mr Garvey found himself in the same predicament, he went to the reception desk at the Solana to "Obtain" some flowers. Not suggesting you do the the same, you could pay to buy some and grovel a bit.

Did the same thing a couple of years ago on a campsite in the lakes

Next door neighbor was miffed hubby had forgot the anniversary , we laughed and teasd them until we realised their wedding anniversary was also ours and WE had forgot as well doh!

I'm lucky, we know it's our anniversary when one of the kids rings up and says happy anniversary Mum & Dad, we look at each and say oh is it.
I think I've remembered twice in 37 years probably the same for the boss.

I do have a shovel but lent it to an irate woman who was muttering about burying the old git if he didn't remember what day it was today and take her to buy something nice and sparkly
