Do you mean, for example, posting on MotorhomeFun, and another similar site? If so, I can't see the problem myself. If however you mean posting the same question in, for example, more than one board on the same site, then that is frowned upon!Hello, all.
I wondered whether there was any etiquette issues concerning posting the same topic in several fora?
Don't want to upset anybody!!

One downside of duplicate threads is that respondents generally only post on one of the threads thereby depriving the other thread of their wisdom.

You only need to post once within MotorhomeFun surely Shirley?Do you mean within "fun" e.g posting in "Motorhome Chat" and the "Lounge"? ( I know that on some internet forums members get very upset by this "cross-posting", Yachting and Boating World being one that I could name )
If you want to increase the exposure/audience why not put a post in the second link along the lines of "I posted this in MoHo Chat..." with a link to the original posting?

I note your use of 'Fora' as the plural for 'Forum', did make me chuckle. Many moons ago a colleague and I had a lengthy discussion as to whether the correct plural was 'Fora' or 'Forums', the outcome was that there was no outcome
And yes there wasn't much work done on that day!
It is a Latin derived word, thus, my argument was that the plural should be 'Fora'. However with the evolution of language, 'Forums' is now also acceptable, but not to meas to multiple of forum being fora, it comes from the ancient greek and roman, long before any notion of the internet. it truly is an ancient word

That was how the discussion went anyway
