Dont know to be quite honest, but I do remember our ringleader Jim posting some time ago about getting a ticket for being parked overnight? in a service station. So be careful and check for any signs etc xxxxxxxxxxx

Yes, I found that post
But I have been told the j11 services are specifically for the ferry / chunell early arrivals..

i think you mean maidstone services at junction 8.
we've stayed there once, there's a car park for motorhomes\caravans etc
but your just as well staying on the front in dover, unless of course your crossing via the tunnel.

mark.

Hi, we stay at the Park and Ride at Canterbury, there is two the one you need is the one at New Dover Road.::bigsmile:

It is designed for motorhome parking, with big bays a tap and somewhere to empty your waste. they have a toilet and I think its £2.50 and that also includes the bus into town. Bob.:thumb:

Good choice, I like it because the facilities are open all night, you can chill out in the cafe or browse the book shop and it's not generally busy..
I use the coach park which suits larger outfits and is right next to the cafe..

Have a safe trip

Jim

There are services at J.8 and J.11 on the M20. J.11 is 24hr facilities and primarily a truck stop (but nothing wrong with that).

There is also the Park & Ride at Canterbury, as already mentioned and a few nice sites around Canterbury, Faversham (M2 J.6) and Dover/Folkestone.

As I live just 30 mins from the tunnel and 35 from the ferries I can't say I have tried any of them though - sorry!
