I have not needed to drain down water yet this year (only had 3 very mild frosty mornings so far this winter ) but with the cold weather predicted this weekend minus temps mean frozen pipes and damage to motorhome plumbing just a reminder to newbies to drain down before cold snap.(y)(y)

Thanks for the reminder done ours, drained the fresh water tank, Alde hot water tank, cassette flush water tank, made sure waste water and toilet cassette were also empty, left all taps in 'on' position, took shower head off, did the BJ  then left the pipe lying in shower tray. Have also made sure no food left in cupboards to tempt the furry ones, hopefully have covered everything to get through the winter with no damage whilst in storage.(y)

Just leave the heating on.
It was 23c in the van this morning and -2 outside
We've been away in the van with it -18 outside and the pipes never froze
